- design and lead an independent translational research project
- actively participate in the scientific development of MAZI
- contribute to the supervision of MSc, MD, and PhD students
- collaborate with national and international research partners
- present research findings at international conferences
- publish results in leading peer-reviewed journals
- contribute to grant applications and collaborative research initiatives
Ihr Profil
- PhD in Immunology, Molecular Medicine, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline
- excellent publication record, including at least two first-author (or shared first-author) original research articles in international peer-reviewed journals . Applicants with publications in leading journals will be particularly encouraged to apply.
- strong background in one or more of the following fields: Tumor immunology | Cellular immunotherapy | Immune metabolism | T-cell biology | Gene editing | Stem cell transplantation
- experience with murine models is highly desirable (FELASA B/C certification is an advantage)
- excellent written and spoken English (German language skills are not required)
- we particularly encourage applications from scientists with a strong commitment to scientific excellence and the ambition to establish an independent academic career.

Salary: The salary group E 13 according to “ Tarifvertrag für den öffentlichen Dienst der Länder.” awaits you. Appointment: The position is available immediately. The successful candidate is expected to start as soon as possible, but no later than December 2026. The appointment is funded until December 2029.
