Ihre Aufgaben
- As part of an externally funded research project, you will investigate the molecular, cellular and behavioral mechanisms underlying cognitive decline during aging. Your doctoral research project will be defined in consultation with the principal investigators of the Research Training Group SynAGE .
Ihr Profil
- A completed university degree in Medicine (MD or equivalent), or eligibility to pursue an MD doctorate based on successful completion of the First State Examination in Medicine (or an equivalent qualification)
- A strong interest in neuroscience, pharmacology, aging research or translational medicine
- Motivation to learn new experimental techniques and independently plan and conduct research projects
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Enthusiasm for basic and translational biomedical research
- A collaborative working style and excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
